Living in a smoke free environment has a tremendous benefit both physically and emotionally.  Obviously, breathing a less polluted air will keep us healthier and happy. It is the best thing we can do for ourselves, our family and people around us.  When the air gets cleaner, you expand your lungs to breathe.  And that is what we are trying to attain in Kemang Village.  To give the residents an oasis from the polluted Jakarta.

Thanks to the master plan for the Kemang Village  with lots of green areas, wonderful lush combination of tropical trees, bushes and plants in the residential complex, along the main Village Drive and pedestrian paths. The pool are incorporated in the Bensley landscape design which contributed to keeping our environment cool and green.

But how can we help to keep our air clean? One, is to kick out the nicotine in the air.  Recently, the Health Ministry of Indonesia also has officially launched a new public service announcement video on the dangers of secondhand smoke in coordination with the World Lung Foundation. The video is a response to the high number of passive smokers in Indonesia.  The second hand smoke pollutes the air we breathe.

In Kemang Village, we can do our own share of keeping the air a little less polluted.  We can help spread awareness about ‘clean air towards a healthier environment” to our family and neighbors.  Remind everybody that smoking is strictly prohibited in the common areas of the complex, i.e. Elevators, Entrance areas, Lobbies and Drop Off areas, Balconies, Hallways and Corridors, Gyms, Party Rooms, Swimming Pool & Pond areas and Parking Lobbies & areas. Let’s help Kemang Village Residences a Smoke Free Environment.
